Interfaith Service Marking War in Iraq and Afghanistan3:00pm - 5:00pm

An Interfaith Service marking seven years of war in Iraq and Afghanistan will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, March 21, 2010, at Grace Episcopal
Church. The service will include a reading of the names of Michigan soldiers who died during the past year, and prayers for peace from a variety of faith traditions. The Reverend Daniel Richards of Grace Episcopal Church will offer a meditation on peace. All are invited to attend this interfaith service. A reception will follow.

The service is sponsored by the Grace Church Episcopal Peace Fellowship.

This hands-on workshop will prepare you for growing shiitake, oyster,and wine cap mushrooms in a variety of ways. We will cover essential tools and equipment as well as long term care. Taught by growers Jason and Yvonne Stephens at their home. There will be door prizes of oyster mushroom kits, and a copy of Growing Shiitake Mushrooms in a Continental Climate, donated by Field and Forest Products of Peshtigo,WI.

Each workshop participant will take home a fully inoculated shiitake log.
